My room number didn't exist, so the lady had to come on bicycle again and show me the right building. The outer doors were locked.

Ths hotel looks nice, but the service is a bit like it is still East Germany. To let ppl in at night, somebody had to ride 20min on bicycle.

I'm blown away about how easily kids learn the internet. Trial and error, and just assuming that of course they should be able to do that. I still remember the first time my daughter typed her own name into Google, on her own initiative, when she was 3, and she was delighted to see her own picture show up right away (from one of my pages). She was delighted, but not at all surprised. Nobody had ever explained Google to her, or the Internet for that matter.

Only now did she ask for help. Her big sister is explaining what a post is, and helping her with how to put pictures in it.
